WHO IS
CORY FIRTH?

I’m an explorer of the natural human ecosystem. I concern myself with the biological, psychological, socio-environmental and spiritual elements that help us optimize our lives for sustainable growth.

What I’ve learned along the way is that a lot of people don’t know how to maintain a personal growth practice that supports them through the transformations in their lives. So I created a newsletter that shares easy to implement, high-impact tools to make self exploration fun and long-lasting.

When I’m not writing One Minute Weekend, I’m a growth advisor—supporting human-impact organizations in the care-based & knowledge-exchange economies on how to create change through impact positioning, storytelling, partnerships, and results-driven growth systems.

I spend my days investigating the human experience to source out and understand what helps us grow.

I explore ideas from psychology, philosophy, culture and biology and I’m here to share what is possible when we fully embrace our natural tendencies to evolve as human beings.

I prioritize personal knowledge, behaviour health, curiosity and self exploration as key pillars of transformation and believe that every individual who desires wellbeing needs to build their own models and frameworks that nurture their natural growth.

It is our birthright to become sovereign in our evolution and build personal practices that positively influence every area of what makes us human.

Through these practices we become less reliant on systems that treat us like averages, and embody our unique potential.

OUR EVOLUTION
IS BEHAVIOURAL

Our healthcare system is philosophically misaligned with the natural progression of the human experience. It is there simply to put a band-aid on us when we are sick. It is not designed to prevent disease, maintain wellbeing, or inspire growth.

We haven’t been taught how to build our own systems for personal growth, but this is the future. Building an evolution-focused lifestyle is up to us and it starts with behavioural health.

The more we can build tools and frameworks that teach people how to enhance their behavioural health the more we can positively impact every area of what makes us collectively well.

I believe that when someone feels confident in their ability to overcome challenges in their life, the outcomes of their pursuit of wellbeing become more impactful and concrete. This is the art of behavioural skill-building.

When we trust ourselves and our innate desire to grow, we unlock personal knowledge that helps us turn disorder into order and transform through growth.

That is what One Minute Weekend is all about; exploring ourselves on the deepest level to gather knowledge to support our personal evolution and wellbeing.
